Ariats Heritage Zip horseback riding paddock boots are very comfortable shoes on or off the horse. They wear well and look good, as long as they are taken care of. Keep them clean, wipe them off with a damp rag after use, especially if they get sweaty from riding your horse, or from general barn dirt and mud. If you live in a sandy part of the country, keep the sand out of the zippers or consider getting a lace up pair. Zippers will wear out in the sand, but can be replaced.
